New England Air Museum
hosts Open Cockpit Sunday every few months, see website below for
details.... Old war planes, civilian planes, helicopters old Model T's
and more. The NEAM has a lot to look at, and lots of helpful
volunteers who will happily share their war stories with you.
On Open Cockpit Sunday, you can climb inside a WW2
bomber, a US Coast Guard Helicopter and many more. Some of the older
planes look so fragile that a gust of wind might tear them to shreds
rather than send them soaring, let's just say, the early pioneers of
flight must have been very brave indeed. These photos taken January
