CowParade returns to its hometown of West Hartford, Connecticut, in September 2007 featuring new cows, artists, sponsors and benefiting non-profit organizations. The event benefits Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters and Make-A-Wish (Connecticut Chapter), along with the West Hartford Town Library Foundation.  59 Cows will be on display throughout the town center through January 4th.

Many of the cows from CowParade West Hartford 2007 will be sold at an auction at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, January 26th.  Other CowParade West Hartford 2007 cows will be sold at an online auction.  50% of the proceeds from these auctions will benefit the three official charities of CowParade West Hartford 2007: Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Connecticut Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the West Hartford Public Library.  The other 50% of the auction proceeds will go to charities chosen by the businesses and organizations that have sponsored CowParade cows.

November 2003- West Hartford Cow Parade. A collection of groovy fiberglass cows painted up all pretty by a selection of artists to be auctioned for local charities after being displayed in West Hartford Center. 

There were over 50 cows on display, here is a selection of my favorite ones... 
These photos taken November 2003. The cows were later auctioned off to raise money
for local charities. One can still be seen in Barnes & Noble at Bishop's Corner in West Hartford.
