Forever Tango
Forever Tango, Luis Bravo’s internationally acclaimed dance spectacular, played originally in San Francisco, where it had a highly successful run of nearly two years. “Bringing Astronomy to the People,” The Children’s Museum is
organizing a series of courses and shows that children, families and adults
can all participate in. Staff astronomers and educators will be leading
courses that will include learning about black holes, rockets, telescopes,
and of course the intricacies of the night sky. In addition, there will be
special StarGazing 101 talks by Staff Astronomer Jason Archer, a feature
presentation of Oasis in Space planetarium show and solar observing in the

The Children’s Museum and new Travelers Science Dome will be
celebrating the landing of the Phoenix Mars Lander. The evening will kick
off in the Planetarium with a live NASA feed featuring commentary of the
landing and first photos from the space craft. Events will also include Mars
geology classes, where the young and not-so-young can learn why the search
for water is so important, and how the Phoenix Mars Lander will study the
Martian surface. A special Mars feature film will wrap up the evening’s
